Carbon Steel Coil 4140：4140 Chromoly steel is available in annealed or pre-hardened condition. Carbon Steel Coil 4140 pre-hardware is heat treated to medium hardness (HRC 28/32) and is designated 4140 HT. 4140 heat treatment is available in soft conditions and can be hardened to RC 40. Carbon Steel Coil 4140 HT is available in various forms such as hot rolled or turned, ground and polished rounds, and DCF sheets for use as retention material for high strength structural components. 4140 is available in plate, flat or round tube, and large diameter 4140 HT is available in stock 4140 pre-hardened and annealed hollow rod tubes.
